I have used Illustrator, Photoshop and Quark for over 10 years. I love production and photoretouching. I have worked in packaging and display for the past 10 years.

In this era, employers are more cautious and definitely more frugal. Employers are constantly seeking new avenues for recruitment and this meeting helped to open my eyes to the way they are doing it. Every job I have had has been based on referrals from friends or co-workers and now with more people searching for work, it has become a necessity to reach out to other means of networking. This Meetup Group for artists is a way to get in on the action.
