We have heard a lot this summer about the challenges in finding freelance and work opportunities in the creative/design/web industry. We understand that you come to us to help find you work and market you to our clients, but are you doing all you can to effectively market YOURSELF? True, we are a resource for all of our Talent, but we should just be ONE OF MANY that you are taking advantage of. Not sure what else to do, where to turn, what you are missing? Let's put our heads together and come up with some ideas...there are tons of cool ways to network these days!

I would have liked some more information about finding more 'traditional' networking groups or events, especially in a 'universal' context. Most of the places suggested were for Connecticut. Being from New York, I was kind of lost but I did learn about a couple of places based in NYC. Overall, it was quite informative and the hand-outs were great to have as take-away reference material. ”
