Hard to comment on the meeting when no topic has been chosen. However, I would like to say that after months and months working at home, I'm really looking forward to getting to know other creative professionals.

    •  It was fun to see how other creatives think, live and their inspirations, not to mention a sampling of their work. And there were more people at this meetup than any other I attended here. Kudos to Erica (and Blythe?)--keep it going.
    •  I loved the video presentation; I can never see too much of artists talking about their creations and showing their work. It gave me a fresh perspective on the many ways I can choose to live my own life: personally, professionally, and artistically. The artists' statements reminded me that I need to feed my creativity in as many ways as I can, in my literary and my visual arts: writing, fine art photography, and jewelry design. It is important to me to keep my thinking flexible. This also helps my proofreading (present career), in my permanent, full-time job at a Stamford, CT company.
