I found expertise, encouragement, and sound advice in a friendly atmosphere. “ My status: I am not actively freelancing/temping through Aquent or any other agencies, due to a few long time design/production clients I have, a steady part time design position and party/gift caricature work. However, I am always open to meeting new people, in particular networking with fellow creatives learning their challenges, experiences and successes; great for the mind and spririt. THe three times I have attended each brought some new faces. Also, since my clients tend to be sporadic, I still look for avenues for additional freelance, preferably onsite fill-in or work I can do from home. Plus, you never know where my next party gig may come from! ”
