I would like to highlight a few new updates with our group.

NEW Name:
We are now offering Meetups in 2 Bay Area locations Walnut Creek and San Francisco. Which is the reason for the name change to Bay Area Graphic Design Professionals (BAGDP).

NEW San Francisco Meetup:
Beginning in June, we will hold a San Francisco Meetup on the 3rd Friday afternoon of the even months (i.e. June, August, October, and December).

The Walnut Creek Meetups will now meet on the last Monday evening of the odd months (i.e. July, September, November).

Both Walnut Creek and San Francisco Meetups will require a $1 fee to RSVP "Yes". The revenue from the fees will go towards the monthly expense of running the Meetup.com site. If there happens to be a surplus at the end of the year I'll use the money on treats for the January and February meetups the following year.

New Membership Policy:
I want to share with you our revised membership policy.
There are still just 3 simple steps to become a BAGDP member:

Step 1: Sign up with Meetup.com
Step 2: Email address verification with Meetup.com
Step 3: Complete six simple BAGDP profile questions

Once the completed profile is received an email granting the new member access to the entire BAGDP Website and our design community.

To keep your BAGDP membership active you must RSVP "YES" or "NO" to every scheduled event and attend at least one BAGDP Meetup every six months.*


*If a member does not RSVP to 3 consecutive BAGDP Meetups, member will be considered inactive and removed from the member list. Removed members are always welcome to re-join by completing the profile questions, again.
