Introduction
I am a graphic designer who worked for an ad agency for 13 years and got laid off. I've been freelancing for the last 8 months and miss working with/sharing ideas with other designers.

Would love to get critiques and willing to give them as well. Like to share/hear about design inspirations. Networking opportunities.

What is your design background?
Degree in Advertising/Creative Writing from SJSU. 13 years working for ad/marketing agency whose clients were primarily homebuilders. Started as jr. production artist and moved up to senior designer/environmental designer. Now freelancing for magazine.
What do you do for fun?
Exercise, pilates (not that these first two are always fun), garden, read a lot of fiction and magazines, visit museums of any kind, go to concerts, travel-especially to a beach on a sunny day, lunch/dinner with friends, build legos with my son
