Introduction
I heard about this meet up group through a colleague at the Danville Job Connections group, and I am interested in meeting other graphic artists in the area.
What advice do you have for ambitious young design graduates?
Well, I am one of those individuals... Based on my experience so far, I can say that perseverance and hard work are two of the strongest characteristics a person can have in addition to talent. Never give up!
Tell us what are you hoping to get out of the BAGDP Meetups?
I am hoping to meet new people who are working in the same field. I also hope to expand my knowledge based on material covered at each meeting.
How did you learn about BAGDP? (e-mail invitation, advertisement, link through Meetup, word of mouth, etc.)
Word of mouth, specifically job connections in Danville.
What is your design background?
I have a BA in studio art and art education from Humboldt State University. I just completed my MA from San Francisco State.
What do you do for fun?
For fun I like to spend time with friends and family. I also enjoy volunteering, community outreach, swimming, camping, shopping, and sitting down with a good book.
