 seproject\, an integrated design agency dedicated to the development of the
  emotional experience of brands through story-telling. The diverse experien
 ce and mediums practiced by the fuseproject design teams span products\, en
 vironments\, graphics\, packaging\, apparel and strategy. Behar's designs a
 nd creative positioning is contributing to areas as diverse as technology\,
  furniture\, sports\, lifestyle and fashion\, for clients such as Herman Mi
 ller\, MINI\, Nike\, Cassina\, Microsoft\, Johnson and Johnson\, Swarovski\
 , Birkenstock\, Toshiba\, Sony\, One Laptop Per Child\, Target and Coca Col
 a.\n\nBehar's approach combines the application of new technologies and uni
 que functions with a humanistic perspective. By fusing poetry with pragmati
 sm\, innovative ideas are applied to the products: bringing story and messa
 ge into the product experience. This unique approach has been international
 ly recognized in museums and competitions alike. Behar's work has been feat
 ured in two solo shows in 2004 - one at the San Francisco Museum of Modern 
 Art\, and another at the Musee de design et d'arts appliques contemporains 
 in Lausanne\, Switzerland.\n\nYves has most recently been recognized as one
  of TIME magazine's 25 visionaries for 2007 and also as one of Creativity m
 agazine's Creativity 50 for 2008. He is also a recipient of the prestigious
  National Design Award for industrial design\, awarded by the Cooper Hewitt
  Smithsonian National Design Museum. Other awards have been received from I
 DEA/BusinessWeek\, Red Dot\, ID Magazine\, D&AD and If Industrie Hanover\, 
 and his work can be found in the permanent design collection of the Musee N
 ational D'Art Moderne/Centre Pompidou\, NY MOMA\, Cooper-Hewitt National De
 sign Museum\, the SFMOMA\, the Munich Museum of Applied Arts and the Chicag
 o Athenaeum Museum as well as in private collections.\n\nPrior to founding 
 fuseproject in 1999\, Behar held the position of design leader at frogdesig
 n and Lunar design in Silicon Valley\, developing product identities with c
 lients such as Apple computers\, Hewlett Packard and Silicon Graphics. Beha
 r studied industrial design in Europe and the US\, and holds a B.S. of Indu
 strial Design from the Art Center College of Design. Yves Behar is also cha
 ir of the Industrial Design Department at CCA (California College of the Ar
