QUALIFICATIONS

· Candidate must have web design/development/programming experience, preferably from a fast-paced production environment

· Excellent communication and organizational skills, and a self-directed, results-oriented mindset

· Background in HTML, DHTML, CSS, Flash, XML, including hand coding and use of Macromedia editors (Dreamweaver, Contribute), for HTML 4.0, XHTML, web standards, and at least a basic knowledge of Javascript.

· Fluency in at least one scripting or programming languages (PHP, Java, Visual Basic, Python, Perl, Action Script)

· Familiarity with 508 accessibility techniques, CMS template integration, Flash-detect, CSS style sheets, including Linux

· Experience with MySQL, MS SQL Server or MS Exchange, Java Struts, TomCat, Zope/Plone, Urchin, SLOX, Sendmail/PostFix are considered a plus

· Meticulous, hard-working, able to multi-task, has strong problem-solving skills and a high level of maturity

· Working knowledge of networking principles, protocols and security

· Experience with template-based design and development, content management systems, and integration of third party data feeds
